Philea will host an Open House “Reflecting on our Year of Climate and Environment and What Comes Next” online on 30 November.

The climate crisis and environmental degradation are reshaping the context in which philanthropy operates, with implications extending into every area of philanthropic work. Throughout 2026, Philea has highlighted how climate and environment run through all our work, exploring how they intersect with philanthropy, democracy, and equality.

This Open House will bring members together to reflect on the year’s key takeaways, explore opportunities for continued engagement, and discuss how climate and environmental considerations can remain relevant across various areas of philanthropic practice.

The session will also look ahead to Philea’s Year of Democracy 2027, and discuss the lessons and connections to be carried forward.
